went to a new site today..... across the street from the old school site i have been hunting.....city bought 2 older houses and are going to use the lots for parking when they build the civic center......anyway i did pretty good (in my opinion) in 2 hours i found 1 quarter, 1 dime, 2 nickels, 15 pennies 1 CANADIAN penny, 3 wheats, '41, '44, and '52, also found a gold filled watch back, a hotwheel, a tootsie toy car, a frog pendant, some kind of silver button looking thing, and 2 pieces of brass one says "2.5 small mesh" in mirror image, the other one says "Alabama Metal Lathe Co. Birmingham"....also found a LOT of junk, lot of older pull tabs. ok I'll hush now. lol

i forgot to mention that the houses are about a block from my house and i have permission from the mayor to detect so i can go anytime i have a few minutes.

i went out on the 6th , some were around there. found about 43 in clad and one 58 wheat. i hunt old lots. anyday i find a wheat back , it makes my day nice finds for you
