The weather here was just perfect today! Went out to the woods and stayed for hours. Was so nice and peaceful! After all the cleaning and cooking and entertaining this week I thought I deserved a little me time. Not many finds but I had a great time!

Most of you were right! If all I have to choose for a favorite from this hunt is bullets and shells....then the little white one was my favorite! It was my very first dig of the day and so I decided that I wouldn't stop until I found something else that was as exciting to find! So that puts my last find as my second favorite and it was the bullet to the left of the white one!

And I know..I know....I need to find a different spot to hunt! But....I don't have to constantly look over my shoulder back there!

I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better HH!!

And yes.....if those shells were worth a dollar......just think of the possibilities!

I didn't get to hunt the woods today...but I did manage 10 minutes of hunting in the side yard and I found another one of those little whites! I took a pic of the mountain which is next to the hill where I was hunting today.....and yes...most of the leaves are now gone...

You might be on to something ,since you found another musket ball at the same place.

those balls could be colonial! one thing is for sure, someone a very long time ago was on or around your property. there very well could be something awesome around there!
