GTA 1350 On Wet Sand...

I have a 1500 an it has a salt mode. I don't remember if the 1350 does or not. Either way you can turn down the sensitivity some if it acts up. It's not as good as a salt mode, but at least it'll help. Try to keep salt spray off the detector box if you can.

It does have a salt elimnation mode... Don't have any idea how well it works because I'm about 1200 miles to the nearest salt water..

It works fine. I was using mine on my vacation in Florida with the 10X14DD coil, salt mode, and running the sensitivity around 6~7 and had no problem with the unit in damp sand right down into the water. HH Joe

Want a real treat? Take your 1350 into the shallow freshwater.

The thing is sensitive and doesn't miss much, I find earring backs and little bitsies my other detectors merely whimper over.

The downside? It isnt waterproof!
