Round balls today

I found a patch of round balls this afternoon in one of my Confederate spots.

I found a patch of round balls this afternoon in one of my Confederate spots.

Nice. I’ve done the same with round balls….any idea of why? I’ve found 7-8 in a 3’ circle. My guess was a dropped pouch.

I only find singles, but a group find would be amazing.

Thanks buddy. I was in a area that has produced lots of Gardners & some others. I guess they dumped them. I've found box finials there. These are from this spot.
