Thanks! I am assuming this is still set for the 12th? See you all then. I'll bring something foodwise. I love hot stuff so perhaps I'll make some salsa.

I'm a newbie to the hobby and forum... would love to go on a group hunt and meet fellow hunters.

I get strange looks from everyone when I mention my hobby/obsession. Oh well, I LOVE it and even just love the hunt. I haven't found anything of great value, and only a few pennies, one being a wheat. I have found lots of old train and farm equipment, the most interesting being a custom curved wrench complete with the company name and RR name, pretty old! It doesn't matter what I find as long as I can find anything of interest.

I will be present at the hunt and will walk around with anyone that wants me to walk around with them.... I'll bring my detector with, but don't know if I'll take it out of the car yet. If there are any E-Trac users that want some tips, advice, blah blah blah, just let me know. I'll bring my beer helmet and walk next to ya! Think of it as community service for you E-Trac users that may have some questions (and hopefully I have the answers to). I'm coming for pure enjoyment, entertainment, meeting new faces, seeing old ones and food. Salud!

thanks for the offer of the "mini classes"for the etrac jon,i think its a great idea(i'll be attending that one myself),how bout a volunteer or two to show some of the newer members how to cut a plug and how to pinpoint?coinpopping? any other "mini class"suggestions?...........got a few spots open still

Yes Master, I can pop that pinpoint that pork out of the pan quicker than you can say, "Stop that pig, uh, err, 'batts!"

Maybe we can have a game of "Call it before you maul it" with a few targets too!
