You guys did great with the old coins today!!! When are we going back Ryan???

Brian... Those silvers look like they are brand new. That Half is in fantastic condition. Not a bad "first" find of the day.

Don't thank me, I had a great time too. I was really glad we had such a great turn out. That would be a nice size club. There is still a lot of park to cover and still more places to go over here. If anyone wants to get out again just let me know. Brian I think you had the biggest haul of the day, great job!

Got the pics ready...

Hey TJ, next time we have to get Donna in the pics too!!! And warn me when you are taking my pic so I can hide will ya?

Deb, I took the first few and she took the group shots. I realized she'd escaped the camera a few minutes ago while resizing. We'll get her next hunt and maybe a group pose.

Thank you again, Ryan! I really appreciate the invite. MrsCanUDigIt and I enjoyed ourselves. Good group of people turned out.

T.J.

Donna & TJ thanks for the pics. Deb, thanks for the GLOVES. Ryan, I found the Quarters & Dime down near the bullet area. Speaking of slugs did anyone post a pic of one in the relic area?

Anybody else get some sun burn? My face is red! Well, I did end up with 1 spent bullet, 1 1955 wheat and a whole handful of clad. Actually, I did have 3 more quarters but the toll collector got them on the way home. I didn't stay to see their expression when those dirty coins hit their hand. :D Money is money, right? What a great day with great people. I can't wait to go out with my new group again. Thank you to everyone for this great experience.

Brian, Your coins cleaned up beautifully! Please share your secret!
OldPlaces, Donna got burned too on her face. I may have gotten burned a touch also.
Deb, I figured I'd post a pic from her birthday at Melting Pot...

A little Tarnex and a real soft rag. ot to much or it will scratch. I usally will try to just use my fingers instead of a rag. I know the real coin collectors will probably cringe when they here Tarnex. Another thing that works some times is a sonic jewlry cleaner. They are pretty cheap. I even clean my glasses in it, works great!

I bought a sonic jewelry cleaner as a present for my sister. Should have picked up another for myself. It was a great day and even better hunt.

Thanks Ryan for pulling this together had a great time with a cool bunch of people.Never posted pics yet will figure out. I was in iron man mode digging up every thing iron looking for that old relic.Found a little bit of clad, one wheatie 46, two small caliber slugs down by the creek ,couple of horseshoes, some type of old hammerhead and a bunch of rusty stuff. Can't wait to do it again.
