Went to a abandoned house in the woods today and found a thin copper piece “W of the W” a Midget car from Rockford ILL and a marble in the same hole and a beautiful Sterling Silver cheese knife. Everything’s from the 1930’s. Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas. IMG_1944.JPGIMG_1945.JPGIMG_1946.JPGIMG_1947.JPGIMG_1948.JPGIMG_1949.JPGIMG_1952.JPG

It only takes ONE for a successful hunt! That sweet chunk of STERLING looks mighty FINE!:love10: Love my Rockford. Illinois Tootsie Toys. Just about 50 miles due north of me. Very nice brown marble. They always put a smile on my mug.;D Your brass/copper ornate piece is certainly interesting. A few suggestions have been offered but, I can't find anything definite for you. I have a few links to Woodmen of the World. They have a building in east Texas not all that distant from you I reckon. I am frozen in and bored. Doing some research for you is keeping my idle mind occupied. Perhaps a lead to your cool old green patina relic from yesteryear. Great hunt my friend.:headbang:
