I got out to hunt a couple sites this morning but only had a few hours. First site I hunted was where I found the barshot this past weekend and my hunting partner found the 4 pounder cannonball.I was hoping to find more of the barshot but still looking for that. First target of the day was a surprise...a Canadian Guards cap badge! I love finding anything military but this was a tiny bit disappointing as this field has only produced old relics...but I'm not complaining! Found a few musketballs and the worn copper and decided to hit another field.

The second field is another field I've been hunting this year as it's been recently mowed and is easy swinging. I've hunted this site "to death" but always seem to come out with a keeper or two. There are still deep and small targets left so this site needs to be hunted real slow.

First target was a bronze ring but the keeper was a nicely engraved colonial era silver cufflink...a first for me! Just goes to show that no site is really hunted out...conditions are constantly changing!

Congrats on the wonderful cuff link! :notworthy: :headbang: Definitely one of the most interesting colonial finds I've seen, love the six-sided design. Andi

Eight-sided:thumbsup: The flower is the most commonly used design on this type of silver cufflink, however, this particular flower is different from the normal ones. So more interesting!

Wow, That little silver button is killer. Absolutely fabulous... and I don't use the word "fabulous" too often, believe me. You are indeed having a great year, but I seem to be in a bit of a rut lately, all though I know he cure for that...it's called perseverance, which I know you have a lot of.
Congrats an a great find Romeo.
