gold ring with diamond!

I hit a field with my brother today that we had already cherry picked the high tones out of, and decided to go for low tones. It paid off! About 5 minutes into the hunt, we got a 47 signal on the AT pro at about 2-3 inches. I couldnt believe what popped out. Its a womens 14k gold wedding band with a diamond around a half carat. Awesome! Congrats.. I've had my AT Pro about a month and I'm a newbie, curious what a gold ring sounds like.. Is it a clean and clear tone at perpendicular passes or does the tone roll and inconsistent like a pull tab??... (Don't have one to practice on)
