Rook, that is a very cute girl you are adopting. After seeing her picture I had no doubt that "Lucy" was a great name for her. I was pleasantly surprised that others felt " Lucy " was appropriate. It is nice to see you are adopting a rescue puppy. I hope your experience is as rewarding as ours was when we adopted Simon, ( at 11 months old ), from a rescue center. We had a bond that I would never have guessed was possible. 99.9% big Teddy Bear, but if he sensed you were feeling in a tense situation, that 0.1% turned into an amazing display of defensive posturing. Someone told me I should write a book about "our" experiences. So many weird and "unexplainable" events would happen around us and all I could do was attribute them to being attracted to Simon. Lucy is adorable. Hope you guys have many, many, happy years together.

Say Rook, I saw your post on playing bass. Paul Revere was one of my favorites, ( among MANY others ).
ECS still plays from time to time. I still have my guitars and drums, but haven't done anything for ages, or is it decades .
Anyway, Sis has a nice music thread going and if you sweet talk her she might allow you to post your favorites also.
Both ECS and I have posted some of our experiences as well as some background on some hits. I believe you might enjoy it.

I went to a flea market/antique show Saturday. I saw this little pill tin, white with black lettering. I didn't take a pic. Wished I would have. It was Sanman also. I will keep looking for a pic online.

Forgot , I have a freezer full for back up if the time is ever called for.
You broke me of "most" of my bad habits and so the ice cream inventory has only diminished slightly
