My mom and dad's dog, Kai, claimed them both. When my mom was taking her last breaths, he was right beside the bed whimpering. My daughter picked him up and he put his paws out onto the bed and laid his head down and cried real tears. It was heartbreaking at the moment, but it is growing into a fond memory. Now he is soley dad's dog.

Rook, that is a very cute girl you are adopting. After seeing her picture I had no doubt that "Lucy" was a great name for her. I was pleasantly surprised that others felt " Lucy " was appropriate. It is nice to see you are adopting a rescue puppy. I hope your experience is as rewarding as ours was when we adopted Simon. Lucy is adorable. Hope you guys have many, many, happy years together.

Say Rook, I saw your post on playing bass. Paul Revere was one of my favorites, ( among MANY others ).
ECS still plays from time to time. I still have my guitars and drums, but haven't done anything for ages, or is it decades .
Anyway, Sis has a nice music thread going and if you sweet talk her she might allow you to post your favorites also.
