Very far north of where I’d rather be
Detector(s) used
Garrett ace 400
Garrett carrot
Minelab Equinox 800
Minelab Pro-find 35
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
The local park I’ve been visiting was very generous this morning. Found my oldest coin to date, an 1846? Large cent!
Now I’ve gotta figure out whether it’s a small, medium, or large date and the best way to preserve it. Gonna be a busy afternoon.

Back 30 years ago I got a large cent and flying eagle out of a park in Charleston SC, now it's posted no metal detecting, Boy it must be nice to find a park that even might produce a large cent, congratulations !! incredible find. keep us posted on anything else you find, and a good address would be nice ha ha ha

It’s a shame that public areas have been designated no-go zones for us either through ignorance by lawmakers or disrespect by some who have not been good stewards of the lands that are supposed to be available to all of us.
