I have a Garrett 350 was wondering what other features does the AT Pro offer that I do not have been thinking about an upgrade

Unstable at most places unless sens is reduced. Arm cuffs have broken, But it is still an entry level unit. The AT Gold is much better.
wow I need spell check lol I didn't hunt too long can't wait to get back out there. My reason for posting is the pro works great and I can run sens up to max most of the time so I don't know if you live in a very hot area or what sandman but up here in NW Ohio the pro works great.I just used my pro tonight after the chisel plow and found a 1895 Indian head in the field by my house with max sensitivity in pro mode with I discrimination ant 8 inches and it came in loud.

You guys are way to sensitive about your detector. You'd think I was ragging your hunting dog. The AT Pro is a decent detector but the hype is way outta line. It is advertised as a beach detector when it can't operate in the wet saltwater sand, but there is fresh water. An you don't have to worry if you drop it in the water or are to dumb to come outta the rain. When your lacking experience in lots of other detectors you settle on your first, like your first girl friend. I don't hate my ATP, I use it as I like the weight, but my Tejon knocks the socks off of it. I carry it in my trunk so if I am hit in the rear end, I won't be out crying cause I lost my baby.
What I am trying to warn you guys about is the ATP has been dumbed down from when it first came out. As for its performance on Wet saltwater sand, not all beaches have the same salt content or amount of black sand. For you to tell everyone that it hunts saltwater well is plain false to the newcomers that take you at your word and then they have trouble at their locations. They should check with other users at their beaches. ATP is a lower end midrange, but a 1280 would work at most places too, as would a Tiger Shark. All single frequency water detectors but with out the advanced audio of the AT PRO.Sandman, the at pro WILL will work on a saltwater beach. The operator just has to know how to operate the machine in That type of condition. I just recently pulled a couple silver and an IH off an iron infested beach while hunting with three other detectorists. Bounty hunter, whites, and Fisher were all represented on that beach along with the garrett. It performed well imo.
At pro has quite a few ups!!
Waterproof
Digital readout
Manual ground balance
Pro audio mode which is outstanding
Iron audio mode
Great depth detection
