That has to be one of my all time favorite finds on this site to date! That is so cool. (the mace) WTG

The only Mace I've found was in a little spray can. o.k.

Congrats on a amazing find.

I love that fact that the last two banner finds were made overseas. I'm trying to convince the wife to let me do a Europe trip to detect. I'm sure this will not happen for a few years but like the Chinese water torture I just keep dripping on her. lol

I say thank you for it to everybody very much!

Wowzers! Truley amazing.

See the last pic where he sizes it with a U.S. penny? I am surprised that the mace head seems so small. I always imagined them larger for some reason.

4.5 cm height and 4 cm width.

I am truly,truly jealous........
Super nice Find!!!

HMMMMMMMMMM! I have dodged meny of those as my wife came in a flaying with one in each arm ;D GREAT FIND

That is one of the coolest finds I have ever seen posted here. Congrats on finding such a great piece of ancient history. If only it could talk 8)

English may not be a first language but he's got less spelling mistakes than your last post ;D

I can guarantee that I have never dug one of those in America. What a piece of history

Congrats on a killer find, and for making the banner. That mace is amazing - what history that thing holds.

Very nice find, you could make a very nice shaft for the mace head from a piece of old wood. ;D
