Hey everyone, reluctantly posting up my White's V3i w/headphones for sale. I am in need of a truck and priorities force me to sell. Please read entire post and if you have any questions please ask!


This V3i is brand new and never has seen any grass yet. I took it out of the box and put it together thinking that i would never sell it. The headphones are still in the bag and were never taken out. The only thing that I will mention that you need to be aware of, is that the machine came without the serial number.

Serial number was not located

Unfortunately there is no warranty with this machine

Machine sold as is but of course its new and functions as it should




Other than that the machine works as it should! I have sold many detectors on here without any problems. The detector will come with a coil cover, screen cover. I have a metal scoop also that I could give with it but it might make the cost of shipping go up. Like I said I hate to sell it but daddy needs a truck!

Was this purchased from a Whites dealer because if it wasn't then you should be aware that there were a large number of counterfeit Whites V3i detectors that were sold on ebay last year ...not saying yours is but to be fair - you really should send it back to Whites for verification and for a serial number to be installed before selling it. By doing this you will likely be able to get a much better selling price.

There should be a serial # in the machine if its infact a v3i when you turn it on it should say a product of whites & its Memory there should be the serial # close to the bottom in the specs withing the menu

No its not a counterfeit..... I have had many Whites detectors before and this couldn't be one..... Unfortunately they can't do anything..... Unless one of you guys knows somebody that could give me a 90 day warranty.....

hmmmm I asked the guy at Whites... he only told me that there "maybe" is one on the circuit board. I'll check the menu out when i get home.

Quite possible I guess im trying to remember from kinda a while ago I just thought that when you turned it on it went to the so & so product of whites & in where it says what software it has had it. I could be wrong though its been a whille since I was playing with one goin through its many fun screens lol

Irritating that Whites didn't put serial numbers on those. I think most dealers register the machine for warranty before delivering it so Whites should have your name on file. If not then a receipt showing original date of sale and dealer should do it.

If you turn on the V3i and at the first screen just keep tapping the down arrow. That should scroll you down and you should be able to see the serial number.

Ahhh my thought was right I knew I saw it in there during power up should give ur build date,software,licencing info ect

Also the receipt from the dealer should have it on it.

Whoever buys that detector will get a warranty until at least Nov./14 but they may even give you a full 2 year warranty when the buyer calls Whites to register it......that is what happened to me when I bought a used 1 year old unregistered V3i - Whites started the 2 year warranty clock from the day that I phoned them even though I told them that it was bought the previous year.

Either way should probly get back to the point of your forsale post, the v3i really is a great machine,& the most versitle machine made by far, so good luck in ur sale hh

Whats the issue with ur serial # its in the machine itself so i dont see an.issue really you called whites its been varified its real its just out of warranty no biggie kinda lol, still a great machine good price ur Fine
