Free Pile Mother Load !

What appears to be the Galvi Perko's.
Remember AARC, this is a family-oriented forum. Don't be using that kinda language with us! :laughing7:

The Block is a winner as well.

And I would carefully check that 2 bit. :)

Ok ok...

I will talk in layman's terms... and leave the antiquity slang / terms out.

Errr ...

The Galvi Perko's = The port and starboard GALVI = Galvanized steel PERKO's = Perko manufacturing co... oldest running boat / ship accessories manu in existence.

Very collectable... and nautical in general is my expertise.

Anyway... they are oil lights... look to be galvi.

One appears to be missing its burner.

Block... Is the rope block right below the lights... same era as lights... HIGHLY desirable in general... and that one I desire.

2 bit = The double side / bit axe.

Looks like a winner... All in the mark(s).

In fact... all those axes should be examined VERY closely.

Most axes are duds... but then there are the ones that are not.

Yes one is missing it's burner . They are both marked Wilcox Crittenden Hurricane & co .

Still good for 75-100 +

Thanks for the clarifications AARC. We tend to lead a more sheltered life around here. :tongue3:

Are they galvi or ?
Yes , I wasn't sure what Galvi ment , but I figured it out . They are galvanized . The tops are copper or brass . the 1 oil burner insert is copper . I will try to post better pics of them tomorrow along with more things I hid under the porch ( my girl friend doesn't like it when I bring to much stuff home , she thinks I'm a HOARDER )

I put several of the license plates on ebay , and they're getting bids . If someones Dad was born in 1944 , 1942 , 1946 , etc - a nice man cave Christmas gift .

Congrats on a really great pickup of some great items! Is that a WWII One Man Pup Tent that most of the items are laying on? If so, it could bring $50 to $100 with the higher prices dependent upon what original pieces you found to go with it (i.e. Stakes, Poles, etc.)!

Good eye ! It's a half tent , possibly Vietnam era or earlier - not sure . It has US on it and I noticed some other lettering's & numbers on it when I was hanging it on the clothes line . I will look into it .

Mojjax,,, one hell of a score over all.

The jewelry is amazing Victorian era stuff.
I finally bought a gold / silver test kit on ebay , I should get it in a few days . I can hardly wait to try testing stuff . I brought the Sacred Hart ring to My friends pawn shop the other day and he showed me the tutorial on how to do do it . Plus Iv'e been watching youtube ones .

You tube rocks...

Where else can you learn everything from testing gold to how to brush a skunk without getting sprayed in the face.

ehh heh :P
