Something about that pitch black one just stands out. NiceI will share my hard stone frame. The 2 Celts are 6 inches long. There are some disc in the frame 1 stone and 2 pottery. Net weights, some hoes which leaves a lot on the beauty side and in hand my only Gorget I’ve ever found even broken on the one side it’s a treasure to me. It’s made from Schist.
Left or right side middle? Left is super thin probably a large slate blade (shows work on face). Right is a creek stained Celt made from heavy hematite. Both found in the same creek and probably Early WoodlandSomething about that pitch black one just stands out. Nice
Very colorful Mike. Are those flaked Celts or Adzes in the 2nd frame? I’m still looking for one.
Those colors show the flaking patterns really well. Killer framethis frame of Harrison County point are from Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky

There was probably more where I found it. I’m not sure which direction they were planning on going with it. I lost permission days after finding that piece. I still wonder to this day. Thanks for the interestLeft middle. The slate one you said
And I just don’t find any chipped Celts but I know they were popular in the Alabama area along with small chipped axes.My bigger ones; majority of that frame I found in N. Alabama. I don't think hardstone exist in my areas; I haven't found any.
