Found wallet in the road today

Just thinking, seems strange that she did
not show.

Was she going to show you some form of
I.D. Or would it be the photo on the drivers
license?

Finally....ugg,

she f i n a l l y called and then showed up 25 minutes after she promised.

The deed is done and there's one happy girlie driving away with her wallet and all of her rent money.

It means a lot to me for sure.
This is all the reward that I need tonight, and all that I got too...lol. :)

I have found a few wallets and purses in my life and alswayed returned them to the owner because that's what i would want to happen to me if i losy my wallet. Great job!!!
 

I found a wallet last month at the Barcellona airport. I turned it in at the airport shop where I found it. Like most of these other posters, I put myself in the place of the person who lost it. I would hate to start out a holiday by loosing my wallet!

Outstanding good deed!!! I found a wallet a few years ago in the snow but didn't have the privelige of giving it directly back to the person, I took it to the police station as I didn't have time to deal with it. HH and way to be, Mike
 

Good job. I am surprised she didn't at least offer some reward money.

So how does one loose a wallet by the side of a busy road?

My son Nate once found a wallet in Drug Mart. Had a silver morgan dollar in it with some other old coins and few bucks. Turned it in and some old lady claimed it.

Anyway, maybe you have pleased the MD gods and they will bestow upon you a blessing. :D

I found two wallets within a three day period one time. The first time we were on a school field trip to a nature area. I saw something on a path and I stopped and it was a burried wallet with one corner showing. I uncovered it and it had $186 cash with ID in it. We took it to the sheriff and the moron started asking me suspicious questions as if I was a criminal. I asked for a receipt. He knew the guy that owned the wallet. I never heard from him.

A couple days later I left the grocery store and was like, hey, that looks like a wallet in the middle of the road. It was windy and papers and stuff were blowing from it. I pulled over, picked it up and it had something like $13 cash in it with ID. I took it to the police station. They got my info. I never heard from that guy either.


Makes me wonder if the law enforcement guys didn't pocket the cash. Strange that both of them would not call and say thanks.

Hi mlw!

She said that she thinks while she was getting gas (at the same station I sat and waited for traffic to clear), she set her wallet on top of her car while she pumped the gas, and then drove off after with it on top of her car.

The wallet was about 50 feet down the road from the gas station, so that's probably how it happened.

Maybe she should have checked her "oil"... I think she's a couple pints low...lol ;)
