4-it shows that gears can't be ruled out ::)
5-it shows more then the post before mine ::)
6-it shows you must have took me off your ignore list ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
Take Care,

I'm still with Pete . . .pass the popcorn T-Tee.

In all seriousness, I've seen quite-a-few Victorian picture frames, brooches, pins, jewelry, etc., and I've never seen one made like this, unless it was a modern steampunk one. I will be the first to admit, I'm not a 'tool-time' person, but it does look like a gear.

BrokenKnee,I strongly Disagree!!!!!!Here's the Haberni
Nice coin, I found one also a couple years ago in similar condition. The other item could be anything? I would get back to the site and hit it hard with coins like that popping out you never know what you will find. Did you find it at the jail site?HH :icon_thumright:

Don't know why you keep having a dig, I have a right to say I don't believe it's a gear/washer. The pictures you posted look nothing like the item, infact the item posted looks like it's made of lead. But hey as your used to finding cr@p, guess you would know more about it. :-* ;D

You sure do have the right to say what you think it is.But when you come on & post tring to play the Hot shot game you play (seen many times & is getting old) & put down others that are tring to help as best they can (then yes I've got a problem then).Only can push a man so far.I try my best to be as nice as I can on here & will admit when I'm wrong(when proven).Something that's not in your record.
As far as my finds I make that's cool what you say Cr@P.But I think you have little room to talk being where you live & not seen a post from you in months, what a joke.If you were over here tring to find sites as old as I do you be lost wouldn't have a clue. But I bet I could go over there & make your finds look like kiddies play big boy seems how there everywhere. You can take that to the Bank.

So you all whant a dig...fair enough game on.

Good Morning SS, Sometimes if difficult to read what someone has typed in the same context in which it was typed/written. I want to make it clear that I don't do "digs" and was and am completely honest in trying to help WorldTalker and everyone else on TNet. I'm sincere and try to give my opinion and knowledge and throw in a bit of humor. ;D When I posted the above, and said, I'm with Pete, that meant I agreed that I thought it was a gear/washer/bushing or the likes. To be completely honest, I think WorldTalker came on somewhat strong, but there again, maybe I was not reading his post in the same context he wrote it; therefore, I posted some humor, which was his words: And I'm sure the 'boys who have nuf smarts among us to figger this un out' thinks its a washer, bushing, or a gear, more than likely it is what they think it is.

I think you and everyone that hangs out on the WhatIsIt forum knows how I roll, but I wanted to make sure as not to have any animosity with you or anyone else. I've met some really nice and interesting people here on TNet. I enjoy helping people ID their unknown items, and do so with a smile on my face. Sincerely, Donna

Wow what a rant :laughing7: I have admitted many time on being wrong, your last post has just made you look the fool you are. Thinking that because I live in Britain it's easy just to go out and find things, ask any of the outher guys from the UK, further more it just shows how little you do actually know about detecting here, the Harvest has not arrived up here yet, but it's nearly here, and you can drool at the stuff I will be posting.
Keep going to the qwack, hope you get well soon :-*

Apologise to a Yank...when hell freezes F@#king over.
I always like your posts and finds SS, and I have no dog in this hunt.
BUT...you just insulted my entire country. Guess your saying all Yanks are alike?
I always have given your snide and sometimes rude comments the benefit of the doubt, just imagined something lost in the translation.
But now I can say I was wrong, you really must just be a Richard Cranium, and you do your country and heritage a great dishonor.

I think its a srtipped gear as well.

If you look back, I quoted nobody in my replies. Timekiller singled me out, and started to be sarcastic, I wasn't rude, I only said in my first reply...how can it be a stripped gear/washer icon_scratch and then you jumped on the band wagon with Pete.
If you want to say it's a stripped gear/washer... fine, never seen one that colour icon_scratch but I think you speak with Fork Togue Cheesy

I agree it should have had different wording...The way I looked at it his picture spoke for themselves and I found it very plausible that he was on the right track. When I first say the object I saw "ratcheting gear...or a gear similar to a thin cluster gear. I have seen tranny gears turned to mush. If the owner says it is brass....I stop thinking lead...surely he can tell because he has it in his hand and says he has scratched it to tell better. Pictures can lie on color, and the shape something is in. I can take a camera and make a scratched car look great, a horse much taller...things are not always as they seem in pictures. On another thread I have asked for more pictures of the same object from different angles...

but I think you speak with Fork Togue Cheesy

I am not sure why you say this as I pride myself on telling the truth. I will also admit when I am wrong.
Upset...jeese give me a break Roll Eyes just that all the cock roaches seem to be crawling out the woodwork.

you talk about people taking jabs and yet you call people names, yanks, cock roaches etc....there is more going on here then you are saying...I am sorry if you are having a personal problem and a bad day.
I take you have no concept in tongue in cheek comments. None were personel. I would like to think I have more Friends on T.Net...than Enemies. I have had a good day...but thanks for being concerned

1. Because you are.
2. Because YOU made the juvenile general statement about "Yanks"....which...I guess I am one...although being from the South...is kinda weird. And I bet you have no freaking idea why that is....so look it up.
