I went back to the farm where I found what I believe is a 1lb cannon ball from the rev war, or war of 1812.
Found these items at a different site that is not on any map atleast as new as 1858. It appears to be a cellar hole that was scraped up and filled in many years ago. We have found 6 or 7 coins in about a 5 foot circle on one side of the hump that we believe is the cellar hole.
These items are a shoe buckle frame, a draped bust largie, year unknown, some buttons, a thimble, a small lock plate with hole cover still attached, and a small fist item that is pretty neat but not sure what it was for. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also found what is left of what I believe is a candle snuffer from another site I stopped at.
