Unbelievable what folks will buy isn't it! lol!

Kace

In my hometown(a tourist trap in the mountains of So.Cal.)a friend made thousands over a summer selling Turd Birds (horse turds with pipe cleaners for legs and feathers and googly eyes) people will definitely buy anything.

That salt and pepper shaker is real cool have you checked what it is made out of (pewter or silver it could be black from oxidization).

I found it at an old 1800s mill site its crumbling on one side

I say it's a lot of stuff to play with different cleaning methods. That way you can say you "want" all this, no need to toss. Good idea to with the display box!
It cant hurt to try

At the end of each detecting season, my winter project is to tumble my not so interesting ferrous and non-ferrous metal finds.

You'd be surprised how much more displayable everything becomes after it's been tumbled.

I love the look of this 1930s Republic Insurance Co. badge!

"In 1903, brothers Ike and George Jalonick took on the gargantuan task of organizing a new Texas-owned fire insurance company after others had tried and failed. The brothers formed a new stock company in Dallas, Texas that would later combine with other companies and eventually evolve into the companies of Republic Group. Since inception, Republic Group has operated by the same guiding principles imbued by its founders. For over 100 years, integrity, honesty and fairness remain the cornerstones of our corporate values."

Thanks for the grest info. Tommy

For small solid brass or copper relics, you may try tumbling them in medium like crushed nut shells so there is no scratching, just cleaning. Just like cleaning brass casings before reloading.

Thanks Sub good idea My better 7/8 is like your not planning on bringing that stuff in this house Im like YEP time to tiss some things keep some things I really dont keep alot the little here and there just adds up
