Thoughts on these? Bunch of rocks?
Bunch of carved rocks, yes, possibly. But those don't look anything like the ones in the post that started this thread.,

... So I think the big question here is why SDCFIA are you trying to deny the markers are man made. Why would you want to convince every body on Tnet that the markers to treasure are nothing more than pareidolia. ... The Spanish took from the crypts and located it to there own vault location's.
Because 99% of the "treasure markers" posted on TNet are not. If folks want to fantasize about them in order to create an adventure for themselves, that's OK too - it's all good.

Why didn't the Spanish take the loot back to Mexico with them? Wasn't that why they were there in the first place?

I will answer that, but first. Do you think it is your job or duty to constantly inform people that the markers are fake where people come to talk about marked treasure locations.

When the thread title contains the phrase "Thoughts, opinions please.", one would assume that the original poster wants feedback (good or bad) on the significance of what they posted.

Stack.jpg

This is why it's hard to believe these balanced rocks are stacked. There's an intrusive vein of white mineral running all the way thru the structure. If the photo had been taken straight on with the intrusive, it appears the three pieces would form a straight line. A natural occurence, not man-stacked.

This one I like much better. Looks like a Meso-American god to me. What state is this located in? You may have something here. Good luck.

I have only one TreasureNet login, and it is robertk. I do not post under any other name. There are multiple people responding to your posts, they are not the same person.

enjoy your comments, keep them coming robertk, love arm chair treasure hunters....
I don't see the effigy, just a pile of rocks. They look quite large -- too large to have been lifted into their positions with just horses and ropes -- but it's hard to get a sense of scale. And how can a "pole" be parallel to a stream? Even if it's square-ish, that leaves one side parallel and one side perpendicular. Which is the important side? (If indeed any of them are?)
Elementary, if it ever even look like qualifies as an armchair TH,
butt maybe a Jackass sitting in the shade eating on a cactus...

Jokers don't know that they don't know all what they will never know...
Best not to even talk to em, answer em, er acknowledge em hecklin's.
Stick with folks that know somethin' 'bout the subject other than sass.

I see what you are trying to do SDCFIA, I read your book. So I think the big question here is why SDCFIA are you trying to deny the markers are man made. Why would you want to convince every body on Tnet that the markers to treasure are nothing more than pareidolia.
