I was sitting at the 'puter and fooling with Google Earth when I happened to think about an old swimming hole where I use to go skinny dipping as a kid. It must be spring fed as it sits right on top of a hill and there is no drainage into it at all. Anyway, I googled the general area and bingo there it was! I was almost shocked that it was still there. It was here I first viewed a real woman and discovered they were indeed different than guys. Two of the older neighborhood girls, well endowed, were skinny dipping when me and John got there, It wasn't long before they heard us giggling in the bushes and ran screaming for their clothes. It scared us too and we went running and screaming the other direction! I told that idiot John to be quiet! I think we were about 8 or 9 years old and the girls were about 16 or so. But, this land has been shut off from the genereal public for the past 25 or 30 years until they recently put a storm sewer along side a little creek and power line and so far haven't put a gate up. It was used by all the local kids and a few adults from about 1920 until about 1962, so should be some silver around! I'm going up there in the morning with my 4-wheeler and hunt it. No signs of any activity on or near the pond since the road reopened. Monty

MONTY we are pulling for you 8)

Monty, if there are two old women there now, your by yourself, so don't giggle, jump in and join them. If you live you can tell John about it if he is still living near you.

good luck on both counts. :D

Great tale, as always, Monty.

And when in doubt, listen to the Sandman.

Get out there, have fun, and good luck. If the mood strikes, for old times sake, drop trou. Promise we won't Google ya. LOL

I took my ATV up there this morning and got a better look at the place. It's so overgrown and brushy around the pond I can't get down along the bank where I would expect to find any crape'. A friend of mine said there is an old homeplace up there close by but I couldn't find it. I googled the location but when I got in close it went all blurry, so no help there. Will go back after a killilng frost and try again. Monty

Monte,
If you go up there after a frost just don't forget EVERTHING shrinks in cold water! :-\ Just reminding you if there a two women there also. :o

Are you going by yourself. Hope you have some good finds. :)

Hey Monty....Would you happen to have any pictures from that skinny dipping pond....from when you were there swimming? :) ::)
You know how much I like to save pics for research purposes ::) :P

Sounds like it will be a great place to find some old silver. Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

It's funny, I've tried to go where we went swimming as kids as late as about 1967. It is also closed to the public and the when I asked the owners they said ..."uh, no." :-\
Didn't get to see no nekkid women though...Lucky kid! ;D
Been married for 18 years and still waiting... ::)

Gotta do something about these eyes...maybe Lasix.
