Found in a former Quarry town now just farm fields.

I dug this large cent size coin or more likely token today. Can anyone help identify it? I believe the date says 1871. All the other coins that I've dug from this site don't surpass 1859.

It's a bank of lower Canada penny or half penny token. The date should be 1837.
