I just re read Sovereignelite's post there was no hint of inappropriate suggestion - That one's on you magnum .

I took the post the wrong way, I wasn't thinking straight. I apologize Sovereignelite, that was not right. I tried to send a message but mail was full. There have been some very suggestive posts in the past by other users on women's threads but this was not the case here. I've asked the mods to delete this comment.

All detectors should be careful at all times male or female regardless of people or animals etc.............play it safe and enjoy

Just keep after it... R/R Relics are really cool and some worth a pretty penny. Should be plenty of old locks around a place like that. Good Luck!!!

Martinsburg Wv has an old roundhouse railroad station I'd love to metal detect there with permission of course

Good luck hunting this site, but stay safe. Hope some members in your area can help you search this huge area.

Don't know of any members in my immediate area... I always stay safe I keep a weapon with me just in case something crazy happens...

Good for you ! - stay safe and enjoy this fascinating pastime - If I wasn't like 2000 miles away from you , I'd ask to come and hunt that
bad boy with you !

No doubt :-)

I have horrible anxiety at times and not sure about how to go about asking permission... or who to go to

I don't know if every state has it or not, but in Va. we can Goole the county just say "Nelson co Va gis" and it pulls up a map of that county. You can click and zoom in on the map and even change it to over view photos once you zoom in close enough. It has boundary lines on each parcel of land. You can click on the (i) icon then click on a parcel and it will give you the owners name, address, most of the time date the home "if its a home on the parcel" was built as well as how much land is in that parcel. The only thing the owner can say is yes or no. If polite you will be surprised how many will say yes, always tell them you want to leave their property better than you found it. Most old non used RR tracks and stations are now privately owned depending on how long its been closed. Hope this is helpful. I recommend to anyone carry a weapon on every outing, and this is coming from a active police officer. This world is getting crazier everyday, our equipment is valuable but our live or more valuable. Bountyhuntergirl86:

Awesome site to detect. I dowsed the aerial picture you posted. I have the picture marked showing possible locations for silver coins and a possible gold coin target. Do you want me to email it or post here or send by PM ? Please advise. Only thing I ask is for feedback on what you find at each target site so I can see if my reading are accurate.

I missed it, but no, nothing inappropriate I am happily engaged but happen to live in Indiana not looking for anything besides detecting a cool site with a new friend...I've never posted anything here that had some ulterior motive. So whatever.
