Minelab eTrac ~ DetectorPro Pocket Uniprobe
I got out to detect for about an hour today after work before it got dark. I found five wheat cents from the 40's & 50's and a 1948-S nickel, about $3.00 in clad, and five or six pull tabs . . . . . but one of those pull tab signals was actually a 10K class ring!! 1965 ~ EAS Guatemala (What the heck is that)! Made by The Balfour Co. There's initials inside the band ~ hopefully I'll be able to reach the owner and return it someday! I showed the ring to my 14 year-old son and he noticed something that I missed ~ there's an image of Jesus or Mother Mary on the inside behind the "stone"!

Alright! Now there's one more piece of info I can use! THANKS!!!!

Thanks to AOSDC, I now know what EAS stands for . . . . I google'd EQUITY AMERICAN SCHOOL in GUATEMALA and found a web address ~ http://www.equity.edu.gt/ ~ but it won't load on my computer! Anyone else having a problem bringing up this web address?

That first website I could not bring up either but the second one worked for me.

Nice find.

Nice ring!

My church does mission work in Guatemala. If you need a contact in the education system, I might be able to help you.
