Forrest Fenn s treasure

A foot is below the soul of your feet.

Anyway, my truck is now fixed from my last attempt. I broke about $850 bucks worth of stuff on my truck on my last attempt.

No biggie really. Needed that replaced anyways.

But I have zero'd in on something big.

If you find the chest 850 is pocket change! I've been thinking about the words and it's kinda crazy how many different ways things can be interpreted. Sigh.

Well to be honest, half of the 850 was something I had been putting off anyway, just found that the last trip made it a priority after that. lol.

It's called evasive language! Like it's right next to the tree. see below! Frank...

I had one of those to I D but mine was 500 tow! Fixed it myself but couldn't get home. I'm going over things getting ready for next spring, summer.

Kinda reminded me one of my Yellowstone trips a couple of years ago. Alternator had gone south just outside of West Yellowstone, didnt know it then, stopped by the NAPA there to see how much an alternator costs just in case. (89$). Decided to venture in since I had my tools with me.

Long story short, shoulda replaced it when it became a simple question in my head. Somewhere up near Roosevelt it did in fact die.

End of story, the mechanic at the only shop there got a nice house payment to replace the alternator and battery.

Went kinda like this....

them, "Your car has to be towed and fixed"

me, "how much is it gonna cost?"

them, "how much ya got?" :evil7:

Ya know towing is alot easier than fixing,.. why does it cost more??!!

Let me know when you are heading out next spring, if our spots are close maybe we should hit the breakfast house first somewhere.

I'll let you know when I get ready to go. Can you pack about 42 lbs for me? lol

Hmmm thats a bit steep! Especially when it's not to far to carry it.

OK,... I will share the "heavy lodes"...

Side note: I believe I have solved the "accidental unintended clue".

I haven't yet proven it, but it is very fitting !!

Well good deal! I haven't purchased the new book so I'm out of it for now.

Video wont load on my phone. Are you willing to repeat the "clue"? I obviously wont ask your interpretation.

themarkd where are you located? I'm from just outside of Toronto Ontario so I will probably get one shot at looking for the treasure next year.
So if my area doesn't pan out that'll most likely be it for me.

Of course,.. but it isnt published as an official clue by Mr. Fenn's website, so it is only my interpetation that it is an actual clue.

"The chest is hidden below 20,000 feet"

also,

"The chest isnt on a mountain top. That is not to say it isnt near the top."

These arent actual quotes as I am not prepared to watch the whole vid again atm. But they are close.

Wait a sec,... someone has a transcript,...

edit to add,... sorry we are talking about two different clues.

My post above is about the "clues" given in the video during his last book signing at the Collected Works bookstore.

The unintended clue, is one Mr. Fenn has told about just after his last book was published, is in the book somewhere, and no, I cant give that out as it is way too descriptive of my hotspot.

Least not yet,...

The clues " The chest isnt on a mountain top. That is not to say it isnt near the top " and " The chest is hidden below 20,000 feet " say how the chest is near the top and in a very high elevation . And this maybe come closer to my theory .

Ronzie , in 2009 I enjoyed the shopping at the Dixie Outlet Mall near Toronto .
