For All My Frozen Buddies!

One of these islands Is where a band of pirates was captured after raiding and sinking a Spanish ship. The pirates loved hiding in the Rugged Maine coast line. So many places to disappear. This island also had a hermit living out there in the late 1800s. Not nearly as old as I like but I don't have much choice right now. One of the other islands was a spot that smugglers would stash their stuff until they could get it to the mainland. In the mid 1800s there's a confirmed recovers of some very early gold coins. I'm sure they didn't leave any for poor old Abe but I will take a look 8-)

Yep with the turning ahead of the clock the temps go above freezing! Who knew the fix was that simple!
That is going to feel awesome! Just might break out the swim suit, if we get a really good size puddle of melted snow!

I went to a trash filled park my first hunt last year, I just NEEDED to hear those sweet whispers in my headphones, this yr is freaking killing me, that's part of the reason I made this video lol

I looked at the first national bank temp display yesterday afternoon and it said it was 64 degrees, wow. Considering it is still winter yet. Going to be even warmer next week, thru tuesday. Metal detecting time !!! yes. In northwest Montana.

To hear the sweet voice of my detector say ANYTHING right now would be great...even the battery check!

I am gonna have to detect the snow mountains (mole hills after a week of thawing, hopefully) there will be no waiting for the grass to surface, too long!

If I go detecting in the snow they think I've lost it, if I don't go detecting in the snow, I will lose it!
