I just reaad where some guys found a treasure off of Florida and a Judge says it should be returned to Spain? Is that correct? Well, the first thing that comes to mind is that treasure was LOOTED in the first place. People's lives were destroyed.people were murdered, tortured, raped and generally terrorized so that the church and the Spainish goernment could be enriched beyond belief.
Works of art and sceince were destroyed.....we're lucky to have The Mayan Calendar today!!!!!
I would like someone,if you know any of the people who are involved with the litigation...to pass this message on.I doubt it will happen, but it's worth a try.
Besides...what is it? Over 300 years in the ocean with no effort to recover the lost treasure???? can anyone say ABANDONMENT?????
This kinda stuff just gets me going???
Remember...."Don't Steal...The Government Hates Competition"

Booo...Sorry about the spelling people...sometimes I just get a little worked up

I agree with you thoroughly about the Spanish in the new world. I think the ruling by a judge? in Tampa involved findings closer to spain in the atlantic. I'm sure Ossie will attempt to set you straight and convince you the spanish inquisitors were really nice guys.

I was married once to a woman of Spainsh origin. She decended from nobility.Talk about arrogant. Her daddy was a senator in Spain as well. When I told her that she had done nothing,of her own volition,to be proud or arrogant of.....well she didnt speak to me for a long time.... :icon_thumleft:

Oh,I forgot about the inquisitors.....They were fun guys to HANG with, they knew how to have fun,at other people's expense

Yeah .
And it was the Carribeans and Amazonians that worked as slaves to extract it out of the Brazillian mountains in the first place. If anyone should have the monies it should be the Carribeans or Amazonians. But finder keepers if you ask me. :read2:
