Fish pics ( everybody )

Don't know much about them, Truth. I looked them up and it said they are red drum fish and are fighters. Our drum fish are called sheapshead and they are dead weight pulling them in. Wear your stinking arm out! Ours are not good eating, either.

Wannadig they are delicious fish you can cook them on the half shell it?s the big bowl reds and the big drum that you really don?t want because they?ll have worms but yeah they pull a hell of a fight I called this one off the side of the road . The red fish are delicious I mean really delicious when they big bowl reds it?s more of a sporting fish that we literally use surf rods to catch it?s like pulling in a real bowl as well as our garfish they come jump out the water. IMG_1088.jpg The alligator gar is more of a sport trash fish but we gave them to the Cajuns and then make fried guard balls and they?re absolutely delicious I don?t know what the secret is but these coonasses down the road an cook shoe leather and with the right spices make it taste delicious

The perfect size alligator gar which was caught by me on Lake Poncha train in New Orleans. They?re hard to catch because their mouth is all bone and the hook gets pulled often IMG_2352.jpg

Until they closed a bridge on one of my favorite rivers to fishing I used to shoot the gars with a bow. They get to be huge...

Have you never heard of fishing for Gar with a piece of frayed nylon rope? It gets tangled up in their teeth and they can't spit it out. This article talks about using a jig but the jig is not necessary...

https://1source.basspro.com/news-tips/fishing-information/5058/gar-fishing-nylon-rope

Another article on this method...

Whuuuuuuut? $281.25 for a raw, 15lb. striper? That's $18.75 / lb. and not including tax I'm sure!

Photography, you have the eye or you don't,it is a GOD given talent I did not give it to myself.I only fish with Mike,he's the fella that got me carp fishing. The best part of this spot is it is 2 minutes down the road,he's getting a boat, ordered it LAST fall, still not here,we'll be hitting a lot more inaccessible areas and I'll be getting a lot more nature shots. GOD Bless you too brother.

Chris
