Thats a very large lake smallfoot.....where's it at !!

Actually, that's a small lake. It does connect with other lakes and flats thru a canal that is usually dry unless we have good rainfall. The larger lake gets most of the activity so we opt for the small lake and usually always catch fish here. It's in the Ocala National Forrest.

Kingfish,cobia,and blackfin tuna !! Wooo hooo !! Very very rough out there on the high seas this week. And cold !! Fish are biting though.

Last weekend we got to fish a half day. I believe we boated 9. We've been seeing some of the fish coming up that look like they've spawned out. Haven't seen any signs of bedding but we've been keeping our eyes open. Some of these sure look skinny in the belly. You never have a bad sundown on this lake...

Yeah.....but you don't ever want to get caught doing that up here. Towards the end of the day, a lot bigger, fatter perch started coming through the holes but then so did the big pike. It was like watching the Lake Food Chain live...
