I was going to say it didn't look right at all. Almost looks photo shopped. Still a very nice one when put in perspective. Here is the state record carp for Massachusetts at 46 pounds, 5 ounces.

If I'm not mistaken that was taken from the Connecticut River Sis,there are TROPHY carp in that river,maybe this year I'll get one.
This carp, taken from Lake Quinsigamond in Shrewsbury, weighed a staggering 46 pounds, 5 ounces, breaking the 1993 state carp record of 44 pounds 2 ounces set by Roger Pyzocha with a fish he caught on the Connecticut River.

Actually, Chris, that one in the pic broke the record of the one that was caught in the Connecticut river. You definitely are in the right spot though for getting a big one! Maybe you will break the record. Here is part of the article that went with the pic above:
