Those look like old buttons, around 1800 i'd guess. Likely British. But there are people here who could probably be more specific. It's a detecting site worth further investigation I think.
 

that would be grate if some one could date them and tell me if they are British.I am trying to find a spot here were the first British settlers established in 1670.the historic society has been looking for it a long time.Ive been researching it for a year or so now and think i found it.I didnt get much time to detect there it took me an hour and 15min walk through the woods to get there.had a couple hours there and had to head back before dark.Im going to go back out there soon I would like to be able to date and have some evidence to show them before i tell them. thanks for all the help
 

1859 Indian Cents don't come along very often - well done ! :icon_thumright:

I've found almost 300 Indian's and I still haven't found one. :BangHead:
