Got out for a couple hours and found several relics and my first seated quarter

You can see on the reverse at 11 'o' clock where it was leaning on a square nail.. was a terrible signal not pinpointing right from several nails in the hole and knicked it

Congrats Jeff - she's in great shape! Always nice when you can cross one off the list. You've been doing quite well lately in an area of the country where you wouldn't expect to find boatloads of relics like here in VA. Keep up the good work!
 

Right on Jeff!!I would like to say,"you will dig many more",but if you have my curse you wont :laughing7: per capita I have dug the least Seated Quarters!Maybe you will have Ironmans "luck".She is a beauty though!

that's what Ive heard, quarters are toughest of the series to get aside from dollar.. would have been nice to see an S on the back :thumbsup:
 

Nice one Jeff! I nailed an 8 reale cob onetime :BangHead:

I am still waiting on my first seated quarter--have dug quite a few reales and half dime though. Seems as if the quarters are much scarcer.
