Got out for a couple hours and found several relics and my first seated quarter

You can see on the reverse at 11 'o' clock where it was leaning on a square nail.. was a terrible signal not pinpointing right from several nails in the hole and knicked it

That coin is one of the ones at the top of my list, can't wait to find one even if it has a nick or two, Congrats :headbang:

Very nice Jeff!! And a war date to boot (as most of your coins are).

I have a confession to make ::) I have only dug one seated coin - an 1890 dime. I have dug 46 Spanish silvers, over 15 Half Cents and countless Large Cents. I don't understand where all the seated silver is around here :dontknow:

It's still a great coin no matter how you look at it. A beautiful find for sure.

Nice One! Welcome to the Club :icon_thumleft:

Jeff you have something there that very few ever get a chance to find , and it is in great shape .
You have found a great spot to hunt and I hope you find a few more and I think you have a great chance
of doing just that . I can't hardly wait to see what else you find and dig for us to see. All your hard work
locating these areas is paying off for you ! Keep up the great work .

Congrats Jeff! As Josh said, welcome to the club!! Come on out and I'll turn you on to many more!!! :headbang:

Congrats,

That is a nice one to. That site you got it hot right now. I'd be there every day before work. Seated quarters are hard to come by. I got my first last yr after 18 yrs of hunting. But the last 10 have been steady. Then I got my second a few weeks ago at a cellar hole.

Don't you just hate when you shave the rim of a silver coin.

I have done it alot. I say to myself man I wasn't even near that coin when I cut the plug. I think the rock and pressure also cause damage. The goodies are the ones that always get a shave. Not a wheat you know what I mean.
