Hi all. I finally was able to get out and dig a little bit in a cornfield. Was able to get another toasted old LC to add to my collection. I have found a few here now and musket balls as well, but STILL haven't gotten any flat buttons. I dug my first round ball with the sprue visible. It's so flattened that I didn't measure it but it weighs 111 grains. I am hoping to get out more while I am off. We're supposed to get another bit of snow/sleet over night. Winter's last hurrah!

Happy bday buddy! LCs seem to find me as I started detecting in September and have found 5 or 6. Hoping I can find some silver this year...but I'm not complaining about digging LCs. Good job bud
