Hunted a baseball field and found a couple of goodies, right field line and found a ring= junker, continued hunting hitting clad in every line i took, headed for the left field and found the crucifix, looks good ill acid test it latter, i also found a sterling pendant with a star saphire stone this one at center field, finally i decided to humt the grass just outside the infield and it was loaded with clad, i got two good coin spills, the second one was,my best ever, got a high tone on my x-terra id 42=quarter, i pop it out and recheck the hole with my pro-find and got a signal take my lesche digger and out pops a beautifull gold coin, i could not belive my eyes, shocking and yet so gratifying, 10 peso gold coin, wow, regrided the area maybe another, but the exitement was overwelming and i could not concentrate so called it a day, what a day!

did it sound good?I have never found solid gold,and from what I have heard it doesn't sound as good as copper and brass/silver.just wondering how it sounded

Sounded pretty good, a solid 26 on the x-tErra 705 with high freq coil, About two feet from the hole I got the same sound and numeric Id number 26 and I actually thought it was another one but it turned out to be a cruddy Stinky zincoln. So there you go, another reason to not pass on those zinc Signals.

Actually it was worth exactly the same as any U.S. Gold coin its weight in gold.

Well from now on if i go dirt fishing, baseball fields will be my priority, the good thing is they are plentyfull in my area.
