this isn't a story of some huge precious find, just a typical few hours.
first time out and first time using a md, well, i dug more holes than a horny gopher. almost got my truck stuck on an abandoned/removed road which used to be a road along some old barracks that aren't there either. found some old foundations so i decided to roam around the area for a bit. i found a cpl items i kept, an old bullet, 45 i think, that apparently hit something very hard and a 1940 nickel. the nickel was solid green and i thought it was a penny at first. anybody have an explanation as to why the nickel was completely green?
i am using a whites mxt, i am sure there is a learning curve with any machine and my first impression is that i made a very good choice with the mxt.
i think i am hooked now. have fun.
