Ive been using the Deus for a couple months now and I don't recall digging any nails. A few deep iron pieces though. Am I doing something wrong? LOL

The Deus is supposed to be able to find coins, where the other machines can not... in the iron. I believe the comment refers to digging a bunch of nails, in search of silver. Last weekend I got a quarter, a dime and two wheats... and a bunch of nails. The Etrac and CTX hunting next to me found a total of zero coins!

PS: They aren't capped bust half dimes, but they are better than nothing!

You got the silvers in with the nails or nails by themselves

Right. I have dug good targets with nails in the same hole but I have never dug a target that ended up being just a nail.

Exactly - I did once and it was a near perfect square nail with little corrosion, because I had the Silencer turned off. Silencer of 0 or 1 should keep you from digging nails.

coo; find! Ive had mine for a week and nails are no problem its funny because my pro would false on nails so when I dig a whole that has a good tone with the deus and pull out 2 nails its almost always got a non ferrous target in there somewhere. Im really starting to love this machine.went back to places that I hunted with the at pro and found coins it passed over!
