Are you using pro mode? Did you go in the water? Pro mode is excellent. It takes some patience to get used to it. But the bells and whistles we paid for can really help us. My first beach hunt I discovered the atpro will have you digging to China for a beer can. You will do fine. Check the old posts from the serious beach hunters on the forum. Many have links to help educate us newer detectors. We get to learn from the veterans and avoid mistakes that they can point out to us.
Yes it will have you digging to the other side found a crushed can almost 20" lol

One of the best features about the AT Pro is the tones, that crushed can sounded like a huge target way down there I am sure, but those coins and rings are always a softer tone, same pitch, just not as loud. I run mine in Pro mode, cutting out everything under 35, iron audio on, with it on you will hear a little grunt when you sweep over those bottle caps along with the higher tone. I dig every thing that's between 50 and 70, that's where those gold rings are. Dry sand I dig it all anyways. Now if I am in my spot in the lake, I only dig midrange because the bottom is so hard to get a target out of. Pays off though. Keep it up, the rings will come eventually. One thing about that beach you have to remember..... your not the only one out there. Lots of competition. Good luck and HH

I have to say, Your persistence seems to be paying off.
The AT PRO isn't really made for SALT water or wet SAND that has been saturated with SALT.
Salt water is a conductor and will drive you crazy with false signals.
On dry sand, use the PRO ZERO program and dig all targets.
Congrats on your finds.

I had that problem with wet sand first 2 days then I GB down to 13 and sensitivity 7/8 had no chatter that's where I found most my coins

You are an prime example of the saying "Practice Makes Perfect" Keep it up S-S, you'll pull some gold soon if you keep at it.

Looks like one of my beach hunts. I don't get to the beach often, but must confess that I've had zero luck playing in the sand. Best of luck on your next hunt!

Ive been in the water time after time with no luck. Got up at 5:30 this morning, went to the beach and ended up with nothing. It feals like a curse. I keep telling myself that giant diamond ring is gonna end up in my scoop one of these days
