Finds from the past couple weekends.

I recently found a new old site that has produced some early finds. I was hoping some members may be able to help with identifying a couple of pieces. First time out I found the luckenbooth brooch a few coins and lots of flat buttons. Last time out we got the eagle pin, what we think may be a gorget and got an early flintlock boot pistol that had apparently exploded when fired. We have only hunted about 30 percent of the site since most sits on the neighboring property. Fingers crossed we can get permission.

Here is the silver and coins. The burnt one was a 1777 4 reale and the pennies are 1828 and 1838. The luckenbooth is considered trade silver but i'm not sure about the other pieces.
Here are the pieces that I need a positive id on. They were found about 10 foot apart. I found a gorget online that had a similar eagle on it. I'm not sure if this is a gorget since it doesn't have any attachment holes. The ends are folded over and I didn't want to break it by bending them back. It also has a slight silver wash on it. Any input is appreciated.

The boot pistol is one of my favorite finds. Makes you wonder how bad someone got hurt after it exploded in their hand and if they were defending themselves from an Indian attack.
