Finally joined the ranks!

Have been a silent watcher of all of you old timers here on t-net. Admired the finds and the support that you give to everyone who posts. Life in my part of Maryland is tough for an avid history buff and wannabe avid MD'er. Seems like everything is owned by the state and what isn't is off limits due to bad experiences with previous detectorists. I have spoken to many land owners who have properties dating to the late 18th century and they almost all to a person shy away because this person tore up a stone wall or dug out a creek bank and left a mess.

I look forward to learning from you all and hope to provide something useful to the site.
