Nice IHP. Congrats. Sometimes the pin part of the ear rings are gold. I took many ear rings in for cash and the guy would just cut the pins off and say this is gold the rest is scrap. Maybe try acid test on the pin. You never know. Good luck.

I sure will Hawk

UPDATE!! Hawk was right the gold in this earring was 14k!!!! Thanks buddy!!View attachment 1749390

Those IHP are a good looking coin. Congrats on the good find.

Good job my friend Ive been out alot of times and get nothing every dog needs a bone here and there. Thats a nice one. I was going to bring my detector when I took my Daughter to Loyola in Louisiana but didnt have time to detect but did go to the french quarter..Keep at it my friend the Mojo is still there. Tommy

I have always wanted to visit the French quarter as my ancestors were in New Orleans way back. The Chouteaus were my ancestors but I don't know any of them in this time. Maybe some day.

I thought you were about to say this was your first Indian. I was thinking ā€œhow in the hell do you find multiple Seated and Capped busts without finding an Indianā€ haha. Way to go T. Ready for some fall weather? šŸ™ƒ

LOL, I thought the same .

Congratulations on the IH!

I got my first one with my new Equinox last night (it rang up a consistent 19) just before our club meeting (I was hunting at the meeting site). It is a really beat up 1888.
