I got out to my new site...probably for the last time and finally hit on silver. 1st target out of the ground was an 189? Victorian 5 Cent. Also managed a 1968 25 cent (last year for silver), an 1861 Nova Scotia 1 cent and some buckles and buttons...

...time to move onto another new site.

I'm at work and don't have time to read all the replies, maybe values have been posted already.

The 1861 Nova Scotia 1 cent should be worth more than 6 bucks (looked at an old website), depending on large or small whatsit (wreath, maybe, I forgot while looking up the nickel).

If the Vickie nickel is an 1894, it'd be worth twice an 1897. Worn, but I love pre-1900 C'nadian coins, esp. the silver ones. Great finds!

I love old Canadian Coins too, I don't know why but I do.

Nice finds, I would love to see more of what you find.

Keep @ it and HH!!

Kewl finds, I'd like to find one of those little silver 5 centers. The 1861 Nova Scotia cent is really interesting. Good digs!!!
