temperatures warmed up from the low 30s to the mid 50s today. a steady west wind.
fields were firm until the temps warmed, then it was a thick sticky soup.

found two broken points.

I went to the river yesterday and it was still icy along the shore. Higher up there was no ice but it was too muddy to walk very far. It’s still early. Feb is the month with the least precipitation so we could dry out soon.
 

Bet that patchy snow makes things a little tricky, the ones that get me are when the rain puts a leaf on a little pedestal and from a little ways you see a point shape with a little thickness, usually just far enough away to drag you off the line you’re walking
