Relic Hunting
Decided to make a last minute hunt and as I got out I decided to return to the place I had found part of a silver necklace. As I made my first swing with my md I got a great coin signal. It was saying only an inch deep so I was thinking a memorial ya know but I was wrong. 1937 walking liberty half dollar. Awesome for a first swing out the truck. That was my quickest find ever. Sorry about pics I'm having trouble uploading for some reason

I've swung my mD for years , probably 1,000,000 sweeps, and have yet to find any large silver like that !You lucky dog! Congrats !:headbang:

Yeah I've only been at it for about 3-4 months seriously and I've found a 1862 shield w/rays and 1 new Orleans mint 1888 silver dollar and now the walking liberty I've been mainly mding family property that dates back to the early 1800's. Been lucky but I've also found a few quarters and dimes. Still looking for the gold one and a three cent coin would be awesome as well. But I do it all for fun and save all my coins for my little girl
