F75 ltd or f75 plus

I would rather they wait and perfect their new tech than rush out a MX Sport or AT Max and get backlash due to bad software or bad audio or a "nothing new" type attitude from consumers.

I'll take the price drops on proven and capable tech anyday.

The T2 and F75 were kings of the hill for a very long time and are still neck and neck (or better) with many new releases. Plenty of guys sold their Impacts and Deus to go back to the F75 LTD. Even Thomas Dankowski considers the F75 to be top 3 to this day. That speaks volumes about their capability in the long run.

Their plan is to release something awesome and stay on top again for years...not play the rush to release leapfrog game other companies seem interested in.

This is awesome to hear. I'd really love to stay with a first texas unit. Love my f75.

It’s Fisher’s way of offering a top of the line detector for an effective price of $500. In addition, it includes an extended transferrable warranty and a free factory tune-up surging the period of the warranty.

The package is $649, the pinpointer is worth $140 and the digger is worth at least $10!

Like I said. It's a business decision. The F Pulse is new so they package it with the 75 to sell detectors. More detector companies to compete against than when the 75 hit the market. On the other hand, if you're a hunter who likes to sell a unit to get a new unit every year then the 75 would be a bad investment. They're priced so low they have very little resale value. That is why they added the transferable warranty to try and mitigate the resell issues.

LOL @ the digger is worth at leas 10 dollars. I truly did LOL. If they put it in a sheath that didn't crumble the fourth time out, it would be worth 15.

I just bought the LTD just before they announced this deal. I have used many detectors in the last 20 years, and my F75 ltd is the best of them all. The DST works. It is as quiet as any and DEEP!!

Everything I have read says the f75+ is the same as the LTD except a sticker and the color of the shaft. Mine is all black. It has a gold shaft.

Trust me. The F75 lTD and Plus will do more than complement the at pro.

I have one. The black one. I know how good it is.

New detectors for the most part are hot sellers though. Fisher has nothing new to offer. So they drop the price lower than the Max and Nox 800, throw in a pinpointer and digger to try and generate business. This move by Fisher was a pure business move. Nothing less. Bundle offers at Christmas time do well.

Wish the f75+ deal had been available in August when I got my DST model (no cache
or boost) and no extras for $550. Especially since I want an f-pulse or tek-point
Pinpointer.

Digger 27; If you look close at Fishers add you reference on face book again It says the LTD has the cache & Boost mode not the F75 Plus. The F75 Plus has boost no Cache this is from there web site.

Thanks Bill

It has boost and cache modes. It's literally listed as a feature.

Straight from their Facebook page....8 red bullet point down shows cache mode. However, they have now placed it on their main website without cache mode...but all the other features still there. DST...FA...boost...FETone.

Honestly I have been swinging the F75LTD since late 2014 and yet to have the need to hunt in Cache mode.

I get that and it's not something I'd probably miss either way. But theres been so many variations of this it's just hard to keep up. I just got my patriot. My AtPro is more than likely headed out the door in a week or so. I think it's a good deal on a proven detector and just trying to figure out the details...I may be ordering one when the ATPro sells. Thanks-Aaron

Think of all those caches you skipped over. Go back!

I still believe most people are lazy and would only bury their caches between 1 to 2 ft deep, maybe at arms length max.. I am confident the F75 will hit most large Caches at 1 to 2 ft deep without cache mode.

Plus I think about how many booming signals I've skipped after I dug a foot chalking it up to big junk. I'm sure we're all guilty of it.

I've got the LTD.I bought the NEL Tornado (12") coil soon after. Great combo and is great in Jewelry mode. Very sensitive. At times I have to turn down the sensitivity but it's deep even turned down. Don't know a lot about the Plus but I'm happy with the LTD. The 5" coil is great to in trash. If the Plus is a bunch more money I don't know if it would be worth it. The LTD. Also has DP mode also which with a slower swing speed is very deep.It also has a separate all metal mode. And best of all you can manually ground balance which is a major factor for me. I'm sure you couldn't go wrong with either machine.

I notice a 2 inch increase in JE mode over DE on the tornado in an air test. Just an air test but interesting none the less.
