exploring a cave

Wanted to check with all and see what everyone has found n a cave or know what could be found? Not rocks. But metals old glass exc... reason I ask is the metal detector was showing copper not coins.. but half inch small round thing. Ruled out bullets. So wondering what could it be. Sorry I dont have. A picture to post.

There are some defense loads in .410 ammo that are loaded with .357" dia by 1/2" copper slugs, about 3 of them with oo buckshot backup.
What you have to realize is that the stuff on the floor is not dirt!
