I am posting this on several threads so it can be seen.

Judge Achoa denied the injunction because in 2009 based upon a survey by.......in which 668 respondents labled themselves as "RECREATIONAL" DREDGERS! Shame on them.

I propose that all clubs, (GPAA) included give their members the reason for NEVER USING THE TERM RECREATION, RECREATIONAL, PASTIME, HOBBY, OR ANY OTHER SUCH LIKE WORDS IN CONNECTION WITH PROSPECTING AND MINING. All new members should receive an orientation piece in this regards too. Don't let this happen again!

So how did that hearing work out for us? Ughhhh not to good eh.. Hate to say it guys, but IMO, call mining what ever you want ... It's goona be gone soon enough. We can't stop the man fellas.. As much as we think we could. The man will do what he wants , when he wants , at any time... When the man decides that no more mining should be legal, then we are done. Just as he did with dredging.. High banking.. Next is sluicing.. We all know this has nothing to do with you call it or anything to do with frog or toad.. Just like everything else in out world... It's Allllll financially drivin. Give it a name right...!

Why let some precious metal and gems go into our pockets when the man can have it all , which is what the man likes .. He likes it all. U think its a coincidence that all the roads to near Mojave desert have JUST BEEN ALL FENCED OFF. The fact we are now unable to claim any land near Mojave gold rich areas..kinda speaks for itself. Go try and claim some of that land near there, I did. It's now called California Conservation property. You can't. Thousands and thousand of acres there still full of pay dirt.. But we can't touch it.. Only the man can.

Going to a PLP meeting tonight , why not. I want to get depressed! lol. I hope the next hearing goes better but considering the PLP has no money left.. Ughh

If it we were doomed, the judge would have tossed the case as that is what the state petitioned for. We need to decide where the fight will take place, on the creek, or in the courtroom.... I urge those of you who are so inclined to get in the fight, if we don't stop it here, the Center for Biodiversity and the Sierra Funda are going to beat us to death with our own club...:BangHead:

They've already beat us unconscious! This is the same as the lead ban. Everyone came into work b---hing about it. I asked everyone the same questions. Have you written anyone? Have you sent any money to those fighting it? Have you recently joined any organizations fighting it? Twenty guys not one yes! But hey, it ain't that bad, right? Could be worse they could outlaw guns right? Wake up Sheepeople! Join outfits like PLP, send money for Bnuggets appeal. We all stand to gain from a positive outcome, so why are we letting him foot half the bill? The time for bi---ing about everything is done. It's time to pitch in, help and do something. In our case second place truly is first place loser! Nuff said back under my lurker rock!
 

The lead ban is DOA, doesn't take effect until 2019, and if the ATF determines new ammo to be armor piercing, then it automatically reverts back to lead...
 

Oak view, you and I both understand that. My point is that the opposition is able to push their agenda thru the legal process unchecked! We moan and groan but don't do squat until AFTER a ruling or law has been enacted. They are not all seeing all knowing genius's- they are simply focused and organized, and until we match their commitment we lose every time.
 

The left are community organizers, they have sold their message as a duty with religious zeal to mindless. Hard to overcome ,but not impossible. The ammo manafacutures will make sure that the new bullets are classified as armor peircing, as they don't want to have to retool to stay in business for one state... JMHO
