Can anyone here please help me to identify this style of artwork?
It seems to be a very old engraving, on a metal plate of some type.
Definately some copper in there.
It's actually in what appears to be a very old picture frame, but I didn't really get the frame in the picture very well.
I'm trying to help someone find a positive I.D. on this. It was bought at a yard sale a while back.
But we're not really sure what the actual artwork style is even called.
It's approximately 9-10 inches X 12-13 inches in size.
Thanks for any help.
Have a Great Holiday Everyone!

Someone posted one like that here a long time ago... I can't find it though :( .

I think it's pressed tin or copper. Very cool!

I've been googl'ing and can't find squat!

I'm not too sure... these examples you posted are of stuff that's a little different. I have some examples of damascening in some jewelry I bought while in Spain several years ago. It's more like a black surfaced gold, copper, bronze, brass etching carving thing going on...

I know that sounded retarded, but I think it's a different style is all. :-\

I know I'm not helping...
